Channel Catfish get HUGE...like feet long. It will eventually get large enough and probably eat the fish you have in the tank. I suggest finding it a nice pond to live in....or something. Its not good to let "aquarium" fish into the wild, but maybe you know someone with their own pond. There are some other options for catfish....that isn't a good one though. I hate that these are sold in fish stores. For size reference:
Yours won't grow that big in a 29g. It will most likely get stunted and may die an early death.
