Back in the Aquatic Saddle

Being a fish lover from way back , now that I am retired and not having a tank for more than 20 years I consider myself a newbie as I know technology has changed just about everything. That being said I am starting up a new 46 gallon bow tank and will grateful and appreciative of any good advice you great and knowledgable folks want to send my way. I want to do a freshwater to get started with and later down the road go to a second tank Saltwater. Thanks in advance to all.
