Aquarium Advice Newbie
Rejoined aquarium ranks after 12 year layoff. Was a professional aquarist for 15 years here in Hawaii @ Sea Life Park and the Pacific Beach Hotel's Oceanarium. Currently a Zookeeper @ the Honolulu Zoo. Restarted aquarium keeping with the building of a MacAquarium hi-tech planted tank which was started in Sept. 2012. This was followed by a ADA 60P Iwagumi tank and a 30 cube decked with driftwood and Java ferns. I also did a no-tech outdoor vintage SS Pemco 5 gal. Currently keeping various tetras, Apistos, Elassoma and wild Neocardina. I have posted videos on YouTube documenting progression of my tanks. Hope to hear from you especially if your from HI.
