Delayed Hello! - Aquarium Advice

So I was remiss and never got around to posting a hello here!

So I'm a graduate student at the Pennsylvania State University in Central PA working on climate studies and more specifically estuary and ocean modeling. My girlfriend and I recently bought our 16 gallon tank and are currently in the throws of a fish-less cycle so that we can get some nice fish, would be great to start out here then move onto some bigger and badder tanks when I get a real job

and some experience of course. Ive posted a few questions and have to say this site is great, with helpful and concise people and advice. Anywho, thanks for the help I've gotten and for the help and advice I hope to get and give in the future!
