Hi all, just joined to see if I can add my expertise to the group in some way. I have kept fish for over 50 years and presently have four tanks ranging form a Fluval Edge to the original Tropiquarium 88. The tanks have a range of fish in them and I have kept most types of fish both personally and professionally.
My focus these days is the combination of fish with organic plants in home development of aquaponics systems. The present tank is a 20 gallon system with a cover from eco-life that has 13 net pots to grow various plants. The only fertilization for them will be the fish in the 20 gallon that include pearl danios, dwarf rainbows, emperor tetras and a rainbow shark.
