Question filter helps whats good ? now days

i have been on the web for like 3 hours trying to find out are the good filters i dont want to do the hang on filters anymore i looked online and found a marineland magnum 350 for a good price but is it good to use in a freash water tank 100 gal,is it a solo filter ? what i mean by that is that thats the only thing running in my tank, or is it a combo thing something you use with other canisters filters. please help

Welcome to AA! Sorry, I don't know much about filtration.
[CENTER]Please don't forget about the toxins in some corals (like zoas and palythoas)
