Finally saw the message asking for an introduction

My name is Sean. I live in upstate NY. I was into salt water aquariums through most of the 90's but got out of it in 1999 as I started to move around quite a bit. I just started up a 180g FO tank last June. I am realizing that a lot in the hobby changed in the 12 years was out of it. I hope to learn more about equipment, livestock, and maybe branch out to a reef system.

Additionally, I am into motorcycles. I own a Ducati and a BMW (yes all of my hobbies are expensive). I am a chemical engineer by profession and have a degree in Nuclear Engineering.

I look forward to talking (and learning from) everyone.

Thank you. Judging by your profile, you might be one of the folks I need to talk to when I take the plunge for a reef system.

Melo, I have had 55g, 120g, and currently a 180g FO tanks. What size would you recommend for a first reef tank? Was thinking in the 55g neighborhood.
