First timer

HELLO!
My son wanted an aquarium so we bought one.( 10 G.) Set it up last night. Getting fish today. I would like to go with active fish. My tank has bubbles on the sides.(Is this normal) Any and all info would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Joe

Ok likeI said, I am a first time aquarium hobbyist. I am clueless! LOL The store sais run the filter for 24 hrs. and it will be ready for fish. I guess they are giving me misinformation? My guess is that cycling is the complete turnover of water? Elaborate please.

Hey Elis dad! Welcome to AA!

The common fish store advice is pretty bad. Check out the articles section for some information on cycling and good luck to you and Eli!
