first timer but have always liked aquariums

Hey, Bigspoon here, recently I have got my hands on a 55gallon tank with a API Rena filstar Canister filter. The main reason for getting into the aquarium world is so that my kids can have some cool things to look at, but the real reason is that I have always wanted a large Aquarium, and being a big kid myself fish tanks are really cool and relaxing (alot of work, but neverless relaxing). I am hoping to learn alot of tips and tricks from some of you experienced veterans.

Hi and welcome to AA Keep the tank understocked feed lightly and do a 25% water change per week{should only take an hour}and keep any filters cleaned on a regular basis and its easy......................
