Aquarium Advice Apprentice
Yeah, I'm a science teacher at the high school level. Longtime Barb/tetra/goldish/guppy keeper. I've been getting advice from various hobbiest groups in my quest to set up two ecosystem models in my classroom to use in environmental chemical study/comparison. So now I have a 55G 'Malawi Lake' ecosystem complements of MusicCityCichlid, a 29T 'Tropical Stream' ecosystem (AKA planted barb tank) and now (as in today!) Mr. Chocolate Starfish residing in a 5G... (Long story, read it under my 'Oops' post)
During fall break I will add another 55G to the classroom. It will be a native TN ecosystem complete with a mix of panfish, albino carp and Channel cats. (Yep, have full permission from the state. So I've got that covered)
So I'm here to learn, to share experiences, and maybe.... one day.... have some fry to sell/trade..
