hi, i am a complete newbie in the process of setting up my first small reef tank, something i have always wanted to do! i am shooting for a nano reef in a 10g tank with live sand and live rock, and a hang-on-the-back type refugium. would like to build up to ultimately have soft coral, shrimp, h crab, a goby or two, and if possible scallop.

i still have a lot of research to do and am off to a fairly inauspicious start, but hopefully i'll get there.

cheers!

Welcome to the site. Scallops don't tend to last too long in captivity.
