Hello!
I guess I should have started here instead of diving in elsewhere with questions.
I'm Stella and I live in Portland, Oregon. I had goldfish as a kind, and betta and guppies in college, but it's been at least 12 years since I've had fish.
As a kid I always wanted a tropical tank. My parents finally bought me a heater, but then never installed it.
So, when I was feeling self-indulgent a couple weeks ago, I went and got a rimless 5G kit at the LFS (Wet Spot)
It's pretty heavily planted now. I started with two gold white clouds and today just got great results from my water test so I came home with 5 green rasboras. They're acclimating now.
I'm hoping to add shrimp eventually, too.
I'm enjoying learning and researching and reading about everyone's tanks! (And I'm already fantasizing about my next one!)
