Hi everyone, I'm Shimi. I'm pretty new at the aquarium thing. It's been an interesting 10 months or so since I first set up a serious tank. (I had a few gold fish over the years as a kid, but never a big tank) I eventually want to end up with a good biotope, and I'm actually halfway there. Most of my fish are South American--I think the cherry barbs are the only ones that don't belong. I try to research all my fish really well before I add anything. It's been a learning experience for sure. I joined this site because I feel like sometimes I need more personal advice on fish upkeep, and especially on diagnosing problems. Looking forward to chatting with you all. This looks like a great community.
