Hi everyone! I'm brand new here and after looking around a bit, this looks like a great place to interact with other enthusiasts.

I started my first planted aquarium about a month ago and I love it. It is a 29g tank with river rock, two Mopani driftwood pieces and lots of bunch plants. I currently have 8 ghost shrimp, 7 neon tetras and 2 flame dwarf gouramis. I'm looking to add 3-4 otos and 2-4 GBRs or Apistogrammas eventually. The tank has done great!

Welcome to AA! I see that you have gravel kind of like mines..how is that doing with your plants? How high do you have it (inches)?

I would say my gravel is a good 1.5"-2" deep, the plants are doing fairly well in it. I've had my plants for about 3 weeks now and all look healthy. I moved a few around to make room for some of the new ones and they had partially rooted. My light isn't that great at penetrating past about 7" of water though. That's my next investment =)
