I am new to the site and returning to fish keeping. Some 25 years ago I had a 55 gallon tank with all sorts of fish. Went off to college and lost interest. Now I have a 7 year old and 4 year old and we are starting with fish. We got a couple of months ago a 5 gallon tank. I could not keep the water clear to save my life so at the advice of the pet store, I uped to a 37 gallon tank with live plants. All seems well so far. The tank looks great, and with the filter in the hood the look is much more stream line. I added a piece of drift wood and a Black Ghost knife.

It is nice to find this site and all the information available here.
