Hello I’ve been around tanks for most of my life. I don’t know if I would call myself an expert, but I do know a lot. My dad has had both fresh water and salt water tanks since I was very young and I grew up taking care of them. I am a biology major and this is where my origins in the field started. I have a 20g with silver dollars-- yea I know it’s cramped. I’m doing a fishless cycle on a 29g I want to do an Orinoco River biotope just for the German Blue Rams.

I’ll try and get some pics up. My camera does not get the best shots. IM in NJ and we can lose power at any time you know Irene and all. I’m wondering if I’m going to have to use the water in the 29 for the toilets if the water stops.... the bath tub doesn’t hold water to well and keeps draining, and our water storage is in the basement, 3 flights of stairs down the tank is in my room and 10 feet from the bathroom.
