Hello and help....

I am so happy to find an aquarium group to join. I am fairly new to this world...well sort of. I take care of two saltwater aquariums for work (one cold water tide pool critters and the other tropical with live rock and a single clown fish). The cold water is the more important tank. I walked into the room this morning and noticed the protein skimmer filled with water and bubbles (no protein waste). There were so many bubbles, the lid was lifted. Not sure what to do here. I checked the magnetic piece that feeds into the pump...that was properly attached and there was no blockage in the tube.

Any suggestions?

Welcome to AA!

I'm afraid I'm not sure what's going on with your tank though! hopefully someone more experienced will chime in!

Hi there! Welcome to Aquarium Advice!

Unfortunately, I'm afraid I can't be of much assistance with the issue, but I can redirect you to a place where people may be able to. Try posting the question here: Saltwater Reef Aquaria - Aquarium Advice - Aquarium Forum Community or in another Saltwater forum. More people may see it.
