Hello everyone

Hello, I am new to the aquarium world. Even thou I have always had the around while growing up, that is fresh water, but my choice is salt water. I currently took over my aunts algae infested murky 55g. I have a couple of friends that are into this hobby as well that have been guiding me through this. I must say it is a little stressful because its a process to set it up correctly, when u want it all quick. But you can't learn to walk without crawling first right. Well I will keep you guys posted as I go... Thanks.

Thanks for the welcoming everyone!!!

So here are pics of my lighting system it's OEM lol. Came with the tank. I ordered a Deepblue quad t5ho bulbs with 8led moon lights 48 inch. Can't wait to receive it. Also I will be adding another fan on the right side. Maybe changing 5 gal this weekend also. Pretty cool thing happened this morning I got a skeleton shed off of one of my shrimps, never new they shed like that! Then my next step will be to upgrade my filtration system. Hmmm maybe a wet dry? What do you guys suggest? Also I am thinking of building a modern stand for the tank? Should I or not? Anyone have experience in that? My just have my dad take out his tool belt lol. Loving this new hobby also a good thing the wife also likes it lol, and my daughter is only 14 months and she is feeding the fishes so cute lol. Here are some more pics of my tank and the original lighting will add new pics as soon as I receive the lighting and set it up. Also I included a picture of my dog just because she gets jello us of all the attention the fish get lol.

I am finally back just got my self a biocube 29g. To welcome me back. Just a little info for the long pause. My wife and I had another baby so I had to put the salt life on hold. I gave the 55g tank to my aunt and let her run it after the ich breakout I got. So now I am back on board. So far I just have 4 snails and 4 crabs. With about 17lbs of live rock. Hope you like Click image for larger version
