Aquarium Advice Newbie
Hi everyone,
My name is Christine but you can call me Chris. I have a 20 gallon extra high reef tank and I joined because I have a few issues with some new corals I just got. Most of them are fine and happy except for the torch coral and the alveopora. I noticed the torch had the brown algae issue and I have never had this happen. So I took it out, cut out the bad part and put some vitamin C powder on it and put it back in. I had read to do this online and I hope it works. It's struggling but I have hope. It's now in a stong flow area with good lightening. I read to put Vitamin C in the water for the 14 several days. Um . . . any knowledge on doing this?
Then there is the Alveopora. It will not open. I have put it in a low flow area with less light although maybe I could put it somewhere with even lower light. I also did a 1/3 water change. Any more ideas?
