I joined several months ago, but never got the chance to introduce myself. I live in L.A. and am pretty new to the hobby (started fall 2010). I fell into it by chance and had no idea how fascinating, rewarding, and confusing it can be!!
I have freshwater tanks -
1 30 gallon planted with mollies, platys and loaches
1 30 gallon planted with danios, cardinal tetras, guppies, panda cories, and assassin snails
1 12 gallon not planted for all the fry I was getting from the livebearers - to give back to the LFS
I've run into SO MANY mysterious things in the last year, and have found forums like these to be so invaluable! Anyways, I have another question about deworming, which I'll ask in another thread. But I am so happy there is a place where all the fish lovers can go... I don't really know any fish hobbyists in the non-virtual world, so hello!
