Hello from Germany

Hello,
I am Martin Truckenbrodt from South Thuringia in Germany.

I am keeping several types of Tongueless frogs, killi fish and other Central and Western African fish. At the moment I am starting in terraristics.

Perhpas you know my (still under constrction) website about African Dwarf Clawed Frogs (Hymenochirus and Pseudhymenochirus), African Clawed Frogs (Xenopus and Silurana) and Suriname Toads (Pipa): http://pipidae.net .
My German language website http://pipidae.de is nearly completed.
The new multilanguage plattform will be available under http://pipidae.org .

Bye Martin

Welcome to AA Martin. It's a great place for sort of aquatic information, with some wonderful Admins, Advisors and members.

BTW, I would love to see what a tongueless frog looks like. 8O

Hello Fawn,
look in your ADCFs mouth. You will not found a tongue.

Bye Martin

I don't own any African Dwarf Clawed Frogs. Is it the same for just African dwarf frogs?

I will take your word for it and not attempt to open their mouth.

Hello Fawn,
African Dwarf Clawed Frog is the common literature name for African Dwarf Frog.
I prefer to use ADCF to minimize misunderstandings with African Clawed Frogs (ACF).

ADCF=ADF=Hymenochirus and Pseudhymenochirus
ACF=Xenopus and Silurana
Suriname Toad=Pipa
Together they are the genera of the family Tongueless Frogs=Pipidae.

Bye Martin
