Hello from louisiana!

Hello all. I have a problem and need some advice. I have a 10 gallon tank, started off with 4 fish, 1 black molly and 3 guppies. the black molly and 2 guppies were pregnant when i bought them. I have lost 2 guppies so far and now the one i have left has given birth and she seems to be dieing now. I was told to take her out of the tank with the babies or she would eat them so i took her out. Is it normal for a fish to die after givin birth and can i expect the same thing to happen when my black molly gives birth?

Welcome to AA!

No, that's not normal, there's something else going on. How old is your tank?

Welcome to AA. I dont think its normal for a fish to die after giving birth. Is your tank fully cycled?
