So I am new here and also new to aquariums. I have a 55g freshwater community aquarium, trying to go bigger but hubby doesn't see the need. I am a nurse with 3 tween girls and 3 male dogs, no other pets at the moment. Hoping to learn much from this forum.

Welcome to AA. maybe look on criagslist and find a cheap one... if he knows it wont cost a lot of money maybe more willing to go bigger....
