hello from n. cal..big time newbee

hello everyone....

boy am I glad I found this site!!!

I have recently gotten in to this hobby, and untill now was loving it!! i have been listening to advice of this guy at a pet store, and just yesterday found out that he has no idea what he is talking about!!

we have a 55 gallon freshwater that has been up and running for a year with no problems, suddenly my tank is "crashing" I have lost half my fish and I have no ideas on what to do.

I also have a 45 gallon bow front freshwater which is doing great...

other than what i have picked up from my pet store guy, i am a total newbee. I have been reading these boards trying to figure out my problems and will be asking lots of questions as I keep researching.

Get a new thread going about your crashing tank.... post as much detail as you can... Ammonia, nitrate, nitrite and PH readings... water temp, filter make/model, types of fish etc... the more detail we have the better we can help.
