Hello!
I've been keeping fish for about 6 years. I started with a 55 gallon tank, the inhabitance of which included an lonely, 9-year old silver dollar a friend gave to me, my two 5 year old blood parrots (in my defence, i didn't know they were hybrids when i got them), and five 7 year old Tigere Barbs.
Over the last year or so, the fish in my 55 began to slowly pass away with age and I eventually took the tank down.
About 3 years ago I went to the other end of the spectrum and started a 10 gallon shimp/tetra tank. It was my first attempt at a planted tank and I ended up dealing with a lot of algae issues.
I am now starting a 20 gallon tall low light planted tank. It is currently cycling, but i plan on keeping a Honey Gourami, 10-15 Neon Tetras, 5 Otos, and a Bamboo shrimp.
