Aquarium Advice Apprentice
It's hard to believe that a year ago my husband couldn't pay me to have an aquarium. All it took was winning a common goldfish at the county fair and I was soon hooked. Researching all over the internet and finding out the bowl I bought at the local pet store was desperately inadequate, upgrading to a 1.5g filtered tank, upgrading again and finding friends for my lovely little fishie.
Now I'm planning my second tank! Two months of research on what species and plants and water parameters I can keep and feel comfortable that I can give my new friends a happy, healthy life. Now I'm even teaching my husband all the things he thought he knew.
