Hi, I am fairly new to this site, have posted a few times and I really enjoy reading freshwater posts here. I learn a lot. Like many, about 4 years ago, I started with a 10 gallon tank, then to a 20, then a 29 and now I'm finally up to a 55 gallon tank. I love the 55g, it gives me so many choices and the fish have more room to behave naturally. The main species I have are congo tetras and 3 pearl gourami which I especially enjoy. There are a male and 2 females, they are young yet but so far they hang as a group a lot of the time. Gourami have been my favorites, the way they are graceful and swim with purpose.the tank has sand, live plants and a few pieces of driftwood. So I am glad to be on this site and to learn from everyone.
