Aquarium Advice Newbie
Hi all,
I'm a noob looking for advice. I've been tirelessly researching all aspects of fishkeeping over the past few weeks in anticipation of buying a tank. I picked it up yesterday, but sadly found a crack in the bottom when I was cleaning it. No worries though, as Petsmart said I could exchange it when they get another one in. It's a 56gal collumn, and I am STOKED.
I have really hard, alkaline water, and I don't really want to try and doctor it as I'm new to the hobby and would probably just screw up the chemistry. Kind of a bummer since I really love dwarf cichlids. I think the rift lake cichlids are probably too big for that tank. Oh well, I don't know that's why I'm here. To leech info from experienced aquarists.
