Hello everyone im new to the site. Ive been a freshwater fish keeper for a little over six years. I started with the jack Dempsey cichlid which I have greatly enjoyed and since have branched out to what may be my most favorite of all fish the African dwarf cichlids. I have Bolivian Rams as well as kribenis. I have found them very easy to keep and they love a planted tank. Im really interested in setting up a new community tank with an extra 55 gallon tank. I cant decide what I would like to try next but I believe I would like to try the Ram Cichlid. Can anyone give me some ideas. My water is soft at about 4-5 dGH with a 6.8 PH. I am very interested in the new Red variety of the ram's that I understand are very new to the hobby. I was wondering if anyone had any information about this new color morph. Any help would be greatly appreciated and I look forward to hearing from all of you soon.
