I'm currently redoing my 2.5g betta tank. I moved my current betta, HWSNBN, into a 6g Eclipse tank and he's liking the extra room very much. But I've decided to put his old tank on my desk at work and I thought, this time around, I'd try my hand at live plants.
Right now there's nothing in it but gravel, a small decoration and some bacteria from my old tank, but I'm expecting a shipment of plants this week. I've got a 10 watt bulb in the hood that I may have to diffuse somehow if I have algae troubles, but that's down the road a little bit yet.
Once I've got the plants in I'll probably get some shrimp and then (I can't help myself) another betta. Along the way, I'll post some pictures and most likely ask a few hundred ridiculously naive questions.
