Hi, just a quick hello from Somerset, Uk. My son has just received a tank and two orandas as a first pet gift and, having just done our second 50% water change (and then realising I may have added stresszyme instead of stresscoat) I thought I look for a forum where those more experienced could assist me in not killin my lads fish! So fingers crossed for me, my lad tyler and our new friends 'goldie and sparkle ' - may we still be together in 3mths time!

What size tank for these goldfish? Also did you cycle?
If not:

Thanks for the welcomes and the advice Bruinsbro1997 I knew nothing of this, having simply followed the stores advice . I did use a liquid bacterial additive over two weeks. My water was tested by the store and deemed 'ok' . I will monitor using a kit from now on and try to get to grips with my nitrates, nitrites etc (life seemed so much simpler when I was a boy with a goldfish in a bowl!!
