Hello to Everyone!

I just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. I have been looking around on this forum for a few weeks and thought I better just create an account!

I recently set up my first 20 gallon freshwater tank and have been cycling (fishless) it for about two weeks now.

As far as stocking goes I would like to have schools of Cardinal or Rummynose tetras and corys. I am also interested in Amano shrimp and African Dwarf frogs but I do not think there would be enough room. I just need to research more. I will most likely stick to just the tetras and the corys but I am very open to suggestions. So many choices...

I also have an empty 2 gallon that I might just leave alone or stock with plants and possibly shrimp.

This forum has already been a ton of help and I am sure it will continue to be!

Welcome. I have a 20 Gallon FW with 3 corys in it. They are really fun to watch searching around the tank all day. I have 3 yellow Platies in there as well which have great personalities.

welcome welcome!

Deciding what to put in the tank is always the best part, isn't it

I would go ahead and cycle your 2 gallon as well and you can use it as a quarantine tank (QT). That was as you are stocking yoru tank you will have a place to keep the new fish to be sure they are healthy before adding them to your main tank. It will also be useful for keeping any fish that might get sick after your tank is stocked and established.
