HELP!!

Hi I'm new and I have a problem. I did not wash MarineLand Diamond Blend premium carbon ammonia neutralizing blend before putting in tank. Now it's full of cloudy water!!! I put it under my under gravel filter before I set up the tank and then filled it up. What should I do? Is it fine or do I need to do something about this?

Uh, you put it UNDER the under gravel filter?

How are you going to change it? After some time the carbon goes neutral and so does the ammonia resins.

the fact that you lifted up the ugf is probably why the tank is cloudy

For future reference, you can put this in a media bag and hang it in your tank.. .

Personally, since you have just set your tank up, I would take it back apart and get the carbon/ammonia blend out from under the ugf. Over time this will collect debris and clog your filter. As was already said, this stuff gets full over time and becomes useless.
