Hey everyone! My name's Jared, I'm 22 and just started my first take after my father giving me his old aquarium. Its a 33 Gallon Half Hex, with 6 fish to start.

it was started 2 days ago now, and still no change to the nitrite levels yet, but acording to my test kit, the ammonia looks like it finally hit .25ppm... but I can't tell, the color looks a little lighter. somewhere between 0 and .25.

Thanks! although I am nervous, I am leaving tomorrow morning for two nights. hopefully they will be okay. I plan on changing some of the water tomorrow morning before I leave, just to slow down the tank a little.
