I am a young college student from Minnesota planning to start my first aquarium over the summer. I have been avoiding finals by researching everything fish this past week, and am very excited to start cycling my tank next week. 
I have owned fish in the past, but my experiences were terrible (as in free carnival-won goldfish in tiny bowls that died within a week terrible). My boyfriend found a 30 gallon tank in his basement and is kindly donating it to me, so I'm busy planning everything out ahead of time. Also, I may be working at a pet store this summer, which is very exciting for me, and may give me a chance to share the neat things I've learned from this community with uninformed customers.
Beyond that, I have two cats named Arlo and Tiggy, and am studying art in school.
