Hi from hot & dry Illinois

Hello everyone,
I'm a long time lurker to this form. I have kept fish since the bad old days of fiberglass filter floss and airlift box filters. After a absence of about 20 years I reentered the hobby. I did my first fishless cycle when I found this site about a year and a half ago.
Now I'm reserching my next project, a 40 gal. reef tank and will have some questions about my set up.

Yes, less than 1/10th inch of rain in Richmond since the end of May. The bright side is, I can't remember the last time I cut the grass.
Thanks for the warm welcome. Should I post my questions on my sw buld in the reef forurm or the geting started forum?
