Wow! 20 in a 125!! That's way too many! I have just one in my 20 gallon but have ordered another. Here's an interesting video that you may find useful.

Yes, Ideally it should be 13, but with weekly WC, strong control on water quality & a plan to change to a larger tank I should be fine. The fishes are doing very well too. The tank mates in the video are the same I have....Plecos, cories, various tetras & Rams.

Buying one Discus and putting it into a 20g with intentions to purposely stunt its growth, hardly qualifies as getting into Discus. Sorry.

I guess you didn't hear. I ordered another one so I think that qualifies me as officially a discus enthusiast.
