Just started up a 75-gallon freshwater tropical aquarium. I wanted something much smaller, but my husband talked me up until we reached the big one HE wanted. LOL

I had several freshwater aquariums, both tropical and fancy goldfish, over 10 years ago, so I'm starting again, but this time on a MUCH bigger playing field.

We added six danios, and after five days or so of them doing great, we just added three congo tetras, three head-and-tail light tetras and three serpae tetras. No more fish for awhile. (Famous last words, I know, as I already plan on setting up another tank...hee hee)

Hi Lisa! Did you cycle your tank? What are your water parameters?

Cycling it now, Austin. pH is around 7.5-7.8, 0 ammonia and nitrites, nitrates around 10-20 ppm.

Started up the tank on February 18th and used/using Nutrafin Cycle. Forty-eight hours after startup, added the 6 danios. Added the other nine fish this past Saturday.

Everything seems to be going well!
