Aquarium Advice Newbie

I am new here, I have two tanks (1 Fluval Edge and one Cycling red cherry shrimp tank). I have been in the hobby a short while and I am in an obbsession with planted aquascapes. 
My favourite fish are neons, even though I don't have any. (yet!) My favourite plant is pogostemon helferi as it looks great and is slightly more difficult to care for. I live around North East England and buy a lot of stuff from Tyne Valley Aquatics.
I am really hoping to be a great addition to a great site, give some great info out and recieve in return some helpful advise.
