Hello,

It's nice to know a community like yours exists. I am new to aquariums and newer to planted aquariums. My first "aquarium" was taking fish from a stream in my backyard and putting them in the 55 gal. rain barrel my grandmother kept in Costa Rica. I did not visit this hobby until my son was about to be born and the nesting instinct demanded a fish tank along with an underwater themed nursery. Now I'm trying to take it to the next level and make the tank more about the plants and less about the fish.
