I'm New and Need Help!

Hey There,
I'm Logan. I got some goldfish for my son, and it turned out to be something that became more interesting for me than him. I recently upgraded from a 10 to 40gal, and then we had all of our fish die. I joined here so that I can figure out what went wrong, and how to not do that again. My whole family was really sad this morning thinking that our fish may have suffered when we were trying to improve their quality of life.

I'm going to post about that in an appropriate board.
