hello all
just so you know a bit about myself and the fish i keep
I currently have a 20g running a kit light
an aquaclear 50
25lbs of small gravel substrate, the natural rock type
as far as fish go, i currently keep:
8 tiger barbs 2 of which are albino
2 peppered corydoras, which i plan to get a few more of to have a better school
a rainbow shark, who is currently about 2 in, and i know i need a bigger tank for him soon
and 3 tiger nerite snails
I also have 4 groupings of anacharis and am attempting to grow some store bought plant bulbs to see how they work out
currently I am planning to move my tank into a 40g in the next month or so and i would really appreciate any input on a partially planted system. such as what plants people recommend and what kind of fish i should pair with my current tank mates. I kinda like some types of tetras but i have heard that depending upon the species they may not get along with my barbs
it is great to be here to learn more and i appreciate anything you can offer to help me grow as a better fish keeper. thanks
