Introduction

Evening all. I am new to the hobby, and am currently in the process of cycling my tank, a Juwel Rio 180.

I'm planning on keeping a Red Tailed Shark in there, so I am going to dive straight in and ask you guys some questions;

What in your experiences are good tank mates for the RTS? The sort of things I have been looking at are;

-Barbs (Tiger Barbs/Black Ruby Barbs)
-Boesemani Rainbows
-Blue Rams
-Starlight Brittlenose Plecos.

I look forward to hearing your opinions!

Hi there,

Welcome and those 4 you've mentioned will do fine with your red tailed shark...

If you keep the tank still a bit spacey, the combination of these fish will do just fine...
