We are Jill and Josh and our first tank was put up this last Sat. It was an established tank from a friend - everything survived the move - 75 miles away!! We are so proud of ourselves, we even went and bought a starfish from our LFS that is doing great with his/her new house mates.:D

Welcome to the site! I agree with mdf -we love pictures here! :)

Hiya Jill and Josh! Welcome to AA!! :) :)

What part of the country ya'll hailing from?

Pics! Pics! Pics!

One thing I'd like to see you do even though the move was successful...

Get a test kit and test for ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph. Sometimes stirring a tank up can cause disturbances in the water chemistry that may not be obvious from watching the seemingly OK livestock. Let us know what you come up with.

Pictures!!

They aren't the greatest but it's a start.

Water test and new addition

Sorry for the delayed response - water test came back a little high in nitrate, but we corrected it. Last night we added a new fish to our tank and took one out. I wish someone would have told me sooner how destructive the Blue Velvet Damsels are! OMG!
But we took him out and now we have added a lion fish! Pictures coming
