Hi gals and guys,
I am new to this forum and fish keeping,
Well I'm not fish keeping yet,
I have started two fishless cycle tanks
One tank is for a betta I have agreed to take on so he is getting a 26ltr tank and I have decided if I gonna do one tank might is well try do two tanks the other tank is 36ltr and gonna see what takes my fancy.
So they are both being done from scratch new filters and substrate and new ornements.
I have never had fish or taken care of fish before and over the last two weeks I have been reading alot as I don't want to hurt the fish.
Didn't do this much reading when I was in school lol.
But I want to learn and that's one reason I'm here the other is to ask questions and get help if I need it off you guys and gals,if that's ok.
I'm getting excited now to buy some fish.
But i have no plants yet,I have gravel in my tanks I was going to get silk plants but I want to know can I have live plants with gravel or do I have to have sand to have live plants in the tank?
