Late introduction.

Hey AA, I've been around for a while, never introduced myself.
I'm a 21 year old new to the hobby.
I have a 29 gal that homes
4 tiger barbs
3green tiger barbs
3 albino tiger barbs
4 danio longfins
2 platy's
And 1 molly.
I plan on upgrading to a 55 gal after the holidays and a question that I have is. How large of a school of barbs could I comfortably fit in there?
Also what pair of cichlid could make home in my 29g afterwards. Or could they hang with the barbs in the 55?

You could go with 20 barbs. Seeing that you have tigers, they are aggressive, Kribs, Rams or Blue Eye cichlids would work well.

so 20 barbs and maybe a pair of blue rams?
