Laura's intro

Hi everyone. Just putting together a 20gal reef aquarium. In 1st stages of cycling. Water is still cloudy after 3 days but planning to go slow. My first salt tank. I live near Tarpon Springs inFlorida

Hi Laura, welcome to the forum! I just did a 29 gal FW and it took me 9 weeks to cycle. I have never done a SW tank so I am not too sure how long they take to cycle. Good luck!

Welcome to AA! Did you rinse your sand first? If not, that could possibly be the reason why your water is cloudy. Thanks for joining us!

Hello Redsea. Yes, I did rinse the crushed coral. It's starting to clear up now. Thank you so much.
