Hey all! So I've been on the forum for over a year but never posted an intro in this section. Here goes.

So my name is Steven, I'm 24, and live in upstate South Carolina, USA. I'm happily married for 6 years to my wife Amber. I build racecars for a living(cool right?) mainly NASCAR cars but I've also done gt3 class Porsches and other high end cars. In general I'm a fabricator, welder, sheet metal guru and roll cage builder. I also pit crew for a race team on the weekend. I'll try to attach a few pictures of my work. I built the Brad Keselowski truck that won this years Daytona truck race.

I've been in fish keeping for over 15 years but seriously for around a decade. By age 16 I had several dedicated tanks. At 19 I set up a huge guppy breeding operation utilizing over 25 tanks that ran for around 2.5 years. It was extremely successful and I was able to partially supply a vendor who sold direct to petsmarts. I got out of that a few years ago and now keep cichlids. In my time I've kept things ranging from inverts to community tanks to Oscars and cichlids to saltwater reefs. Im currently down to one tank plus a quarantine at the moment. I'm a long time into this hobby and still learning daily. I hope to interact with many of you in my time here. I also keep reptiles, I enjoy fishing, racing, rc cars and just being out doors in general. Now a few pictures. The last pic is me and my wife... she's a looker lol.

Welcome and super cool! I got into racing especially top fuel drag racing through my husband of 10 years (been together a total of 18 years) . My father-in-law was in a pit crew for a top fuel team for several year's. I haven't been to a race in years:( I found that fish can be just as addicting as racing.

Thanks for the welcome guys. Yeah that is my Nile monitor. He is a handful. I have a Savannah monitor as well. He looks like a pit bull, which ironically I also have two of. One of the meanest ball pythons on the face of this earth too. He is pastel, and normally balls have a gentle passive nature but mine is demon spawn. He has bitten me 25+ times. I had a Burmese too, I was able to donate him to the local zoo at about 7 1/2 feet. They're honestly irresponsible to own.

I used to have a savannah, too. They're great! You're lucky, I don't have room for big lizards anymore. :(
