Well not really new I've been at it for a year. But still have question! I got my 55 gallon from my aunt as a gift ( she didn't want it anymore) it had everything with it but fish and water. At the time I thought fish where boring so I googled other things to put in it (my mom makes me research every thing). I set up at turtle tank with 2 Southern Painted Turtles, Guppies, a bunch of Ghost Shrimp and Snails.
After I saw how cool my Fish, Shrimp and Snails were I bought a 10 gallon tank to put some of them in to save from turtle.
2 months ago my mom's job gave me a Electric Yellow Cichlid and are planning to give me more ( they bred like crazy at her job tank but can't catch them). So my new venture is Cichlids also breeding Red Cherry Shrimp and finding out what to put in my 40 gallon be for I go to college next year!!!
