My son's new aquarium

I've just recently bought my son a 1 gallon junior aquarium....We have 1 male Beta, The tank is the perfect size...There is only one problem with it and that is it keeps bubbling over.....I've never had an aquarium before so i'm not sure if this is supposed to be happening or not, but I would appreciate any advice that anyone could give about this....I know it's not the best tank I could have got, but it's good size for a starter!! Thanks for anyone's help out there!!

Welcome!!!

Tanks are not supposed to bubble over or do you mean the top is getting covered in bubbles?

I does'nt exactly bubble over with water, it's more like soapy looking bubbles, if that makes sense....anyway I don't think it should be doing this either!!! [acronym:aa43203be6="Laughing out loud"]LOL[/acronym:aa43203be6]!!

Do you know if its the filter making bubbles or the fish making bubbles?

The air filter is what is making the bubbles

Haha how funny, I had this problem last week! A tank with a air pump too small will bubble over. I would check to see if they have any smaller sizes.
